Members of the First Parish Senior Choir recently returned from a successful two-week tour of England and Scotland where they sang in York Minster, St. George's Bloomsbury in London and St. Mary's Church in Warwick. In addition they performed two concerts with Scottish Choirs. The Oban Gaelic Choir in the beautifully inspiring town of Oban and in Edinburgh with the Kevock Choir.
When not rehearsing or singing they were busy traveling the British Isles in a double decker bus with trailer! The tour was invaluable. It allowed choir members to make new friends and to experience various kinds of liturgical services. Especially meaningful were the evensongs. The camaraderie amongst the group as we traveled together was amazing and will be a fond memory that will last a long time.
