On April 19th after worship, more than 80 members of the FPC community met  to participate in a facilities conversation on the First Parish Church Connectedness Projects, led by the Facilities task force of Church Council. The group is currently in a Planning Study: gathering information, conducting interviews, and sharing options for improvements to facilities.

The results of the Planning Study will be presented to the Ministry Forum on June 6th, and to the congregation at the semi-annual meeting on June 14th, hoping to authorize and move into a Feasibility Study. For more information, and to view some of the draft proposals, you can see a message from the Facilities task force here.  (Now updated with final case statement and a frequently asked questions document.)

The next Congregational Conversation with Church Council (4C’s) on facilities will be after worship on Sunday, May 31st. The Facilities Team will provide a status update at this meeting. All are encouraged — especially those who have not yet been able to attend a 4Cs on facilities — to stay and participate in the conversation. Children are welcome.
