Community Read:
Kent Nerburn’s Neither Wolf Nor Dog is the author’s experience of his journey with a Lakota elder named Dan. In conversations and actual journeys to “thin places,” Nerburn learns about Native American spirituality, traditions and life on the reservations. Themes of the Great Spirit, spiritual connections to the natural world, interconnection of all beings, and the idea of original blessing intersect with Celtic traditions and will be topics for discussion. Copies of this book are available for purchase at Gulf of Maine Books on Maine Street in Brunswick. Discussions will be held at 9 Cleaveland St. in Brunswick on the following dates: Tues, March 19, 7-8:30 pm; Wed, March 20, 9:30-11 am; Sun, March 24, 11:15 am.
