10th Anniversary Celebration Weekend
February 19-21, 2010
Open Walks, Children's Hour, Workshops on
History & Use of Labyrinths, and Balancing our Left/Right Brain
Click here for schedule and more information.
Please Note: The Saturday 1:00pm-3:30pm Right/Left Brain workshop is full. We are taking a waiting list in case there are cancellations.
Our labyrinth is a pathway,
painted on canvas, intended for meditational walking. Unlike a maze,
the labryinth has no tricks or dead ends. A single winding path leads
to the center and back out again. Walking the path quiets the mind,
engages the body and encourages the spiritual nature in each of us.
Background information, meditational literature and a welcoming presence will be available for
all who might like to try this ancient practice. Please allow a minimum
of 30-45 minutes for your walk.
Whether you are new to walking the labyrinth, have followed the ancient practice for years,
are a member of the church, our community, or a visitor to the Brunswick Maine area, you are welcome!
The Labyrinth is set up at Fellowship Hall in the Pilgrim House, across the street from First Parish Church.
Please join us for our 2009-10 Labyrinth season. All days are Tuesdays, from 12 Noon to 8pm, with the exception of Good Friday, April 2.
